Jeanne R. Perrone, CVT, VTS (Dentistry)

Jeanne Perrone graduated from Parkland College with an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology, Drew University with a B.A. degree, and from Ashford University with a M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology. In 2006, Jeanne received her veterinary technician specialist (VTS) credentials in dentistry.

With more than 30 years as a credentialed veterinary technician (CVT), Jeanne has dedicated 12 years in veterinary dental practice. She has written numerous articles for veterinary technician journals. She also edited and published the second edition of Small Animal Dental Procedures for Veterinary Technicians and Nurses by Wiley-Blackwell (2021). She served as the organizing committee chair and president of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians.

Currently, Jeanne serves as program manager of Learning and Development for United Veterinary Care. She is the owner and facilitator of VT Dental Training, which provides consulting and dentistry skills training for veterinary staff. She is also an adjunct instructor for the Veterinary Technology BAS program in dentistry at St. Petersburg College, Florida, and she is an online instructor of dentistry courses at Vetmedteam.com.
