Kathy Adamson, DVM
Dr. Kathy Adamson completed her bachelor's degree at the University of Notre Dame in 1993. Then, she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. She completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. During her education, she conducted research and authored and co-authored journal articles.
Dr. Adamson worked in small animal general practice and emergency medicine in North Carolina and Wisconsin. She runs KMA Veterinary & Medical Writing, LLC, focusing on several areas, including continuing education for veterinarians and articles for pet owners. Dr. Adamson is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association, the American Medical Writers Association, and the Plain Language Association International.
